CCR Mother's Day Card

Today theme from My Cricut Craftroom is a Mother's Day Card using Cricut Craftroom (CCR)

This Card was super easy to make. It is the FREE File for the week. I have never used a project file before . I went to cricut.com projects tab. I downloaded it to my desktop.
Next I open Cricut Craftroom. I went to the top left my projects and clicked on it. I the used import file.

It was so easy I have the full file and on the mat and color coded ready to cut. They do give you a PDF to download on cricut.com.
 This card is 5"x5"
I loved the shape of the card. You can also change the size and just pick this Cricut Craftroom cartridge and make your own !!! I just used scraps I had to make my flowers and went into my bling box !!

MCCR Imagine Monday's

Happy Monday !!! Today I'm posting  for My Cricut Craftroom Design Team. It's Imagine Monday !!

Did you know you can cut images from the Imagine Art  cartridges on the E2 or CCR ? The answer is  Yes you can !!!  I'm going to work with All Wrapped Up today.... .  First here are a few TIPS  Choose an Art image that can be separated. FYI  Most words will be a shadow. I choose the butterfly card. When you use CCR you need to do the same choose an art image that can be separated. You will edit group. Then hit exit and your ready to cut the image.

I used my E2 today ....
Here is a photo to know how to separate the image. To get here you pick your image and hit the edit pencil. Then you get to this screen. Then save once you have layers in the box on the right.

I had to add a space for my mat placement. I cut it at 6"  These make really cute placards. I made these for a Mother's Day Tea. This years table theme is butterfly's in the garden.
I used WOW embossing glitter  ( Blue Lagoon ) The paper is My Mines Eye "Bella" from my stash. I also chalked the edges.
I used WOW embossing glitter  (Shara) . The Paper is from tinkering inc "sprite"and My Minds Eye "Sundance " I also used chalk around the butterfly.

I hope you enjoyed on how to use Imagine Art Cartridges with out the imagine. Play around in CCR and see if you want to add to your collection. There are tons of cute images on these cartridges.

MCCR Design Team Card Creating Tuesday !!!!

I'm thrilled to be back as a Design team member  for My Cricut Craftroom !!!  I had some time off dealing with health and family.... So I had to dust off my E2 for the Card I made today. It was my Husbands birthday on Saturday and I sent him to Walt Disney World to meet his brother and nephew for a week.

These are the supplies I used to make my 6x6 card. I used everything from my stash !!!
Mickey and Friends and Font Cartridges , solid core card stock , embossing folder , ink , Birthday stamps , foam squares  , twine , xyron X and adhesive.

Here is my Card...... Enjoy !!!!!
I cut and Layered Mickey from Mickey and Friends Cartridge p 81 at 5 1/2 inches ...... I used all layers features. TIP  I love to use my X to glue all the little pieces... I cut my 12x12 solid core card stock  to 6x6 squares. Then 1 layer my colors on the mat ... Sometimes I cut them smaller to fit all cuts on one mat. I cut once with my E2. (or you can use CCR or Gyspy)  Then I don't take the pieces off the mat until I'm ready to glue them on. ( I have lost to many little pieces and had to stop and re cut them over)
I ran the 6x6 green card stock in chevron embossing folder then cut 1" strips then spaced 1/2" apart from the top and bottom layers for the background.
The "OH BOY!" p 126 from Font Cartridge cut at 3/4" shadow. The tags are from Mickey and Friends p116 at 1 1/2 " with both layers and tied with twine then attached with a foam square pop up.

Have A CRAFTY day !!!! Please come back I will be posting once a week for MCCR and Blog Hops.
